Listen to the signers, and learn more about them.
Here is our first sample!
The first graders President reports are hanging on the wall at the LC. I videotaped the students reading their report. If you stop by school with any kind of “smart” device. (iPhone, droid, iPad) you can follow these directions below to see your child’s paper report come to life!
Soooo cool!
Aurasma Instructions
What is Auramsa? Aurasma is an app that allows us to share video using an image as a trigger. Think of it as a Q.R. or barcode that leads you a website. Your child’s artwork becomes the code. Use the app to access the video that goes along with it. Look for the Aurasma logo around school to access these videos!
The 5th graders are assigned a Signer of the Declaration of Independence They will research their “signer” and then we are hoping to use the fun web based “BLABBERIZE” program which allows you to animate photos.
This site often has glitches, so keep your fingers crossed! We have a back up plan which is also very cool if the web site does not cooperate!
We will keep you posted!
Dipping into a little Photo Editing with www.pixlr.com
We created really cool bookmarks for our parents for a Valentine Gift!
Each picture was downloaded to the dropbox. The students retrieved their photo, and began to erase the background around their body.
The students were very creative and had a lot of fun with this project!
